是！是前生注定的。观世音菩萨有求必应，可以去祈求。但是有的时候求不应，为什么？非理，不如法，观音菩萨不管你。如果你真正，你是个男生，希望娶到一个好太太，能像文王的夫人太姒一样，将来能够生出圣贤人。不但是荣宗耀祖，而且能够帮助社会安定，帮助世界和平，那观音菩萨就会帮你忙。你没有这种大愿心，菩萨不会管你的，那你就宿世的缘分是什么样的。夫妻是缘，有报恩的，恩爱夫妻；有报怨的，报怨的时候，结婚之后永远不会和睦，会给你带来家庭纠纷；有讨债的，有还债的，总是四种缘。只有懂得佛法的人，无论是哪一种缘，都把它转成法缘，大家在一起学佛，一起共修。过去不善的缘化解了，善的缘也转变成法缘，这个好！现在在家学佛的同修，有几个人懂这个道理？

如果真懂这个道理，学佛同修家庭决定是和睦的，六和敬的家庭。那佛法在这个社会，形象就不一样了，学佛的人家庭真的是美满，这就是弘扬佛法，这就是利益众生。如果学佛的人还是争名夺利，还是自私自利，不但戒律不能持，十善也做不到，这就错了。这样学佛依旧随业流转，灾难来的时候还是不能避免，为什么？你不是真学佛，挂着佛的招牌，没有认真学佛。我们现在把这个事情，学佛的事情搞清楚，搞明白了。

宿世姻缘是缘分中的一种。
在宿世中两个互相喜欢或一方喜欢另一方，并且有过一定的认识和接触，双方中若有人希望未来世能在一起生活，这就是缘起。此缘起于心念，因为喜欢对方而一心专念，这既是愿力也是因缘相续的起点。
在未来世时，两个再遇不知经过多少轮回，若有一次因缘聚足，生于同一城市，年龄相仿，一男一女，又有机缘而相识相知，因宿业及愿力感召便有机会成为夫妻。
一切事皆从自业因缘力故而得生起，缘聚缘灭无一可得。
